Recent Project Spotlight: Library Donation

Child literacy is a perennial concern for the Salisbury Jaycees, who founded Wicomico County’s only countywide Read Across American program several years ago at the Wicomico County Public Library. Now facing budget cuts, the library needs help—and the Jaycees answered the call.
Chapter President David Engelhardt (right) and Community Development Vice President Buddy Brooks (center) recently presented Library Director Tom Hehman with a check to help the library purchase new children’s books. The donation was among the latest in a series of contributions to local non-profit agencies and organizations.

We Believe...
That faith in God gives
meaning and purpose to human life;
That the brotherhood of man
transcends the sovereignty
of nations;
That economic justice
can best be won
by free men through free enterprise;
That government should be of laws
rather than of men;
That Earth's great treasure
lies in human personality;
And that service to humanity
is the best work of life.
