Saturday May 26 of Memorial Weekend, it is the Soft Shell Metric Century Bike Ride in Crisfield, MD. Riders can download the registration form here. Jaycees Volunteers will be assigned a Bike Ride Rest Stop serving Gatorade, Peanut Butter Sandwiches and granola bars etc. Its going to be a fun event. Contact President Mike to sign up. See you there! PS We're also recruiting volunteers now for the Chicken Festival: June 15-16. We're cooking Delmarvalous BBQ Chicken at The Centre at Salisbury Mall!! Quick, someone turn on the Bat Signal! There’s been a murder in Superhero City!
That was the theme of the Salisbury Jaycees’ 2011 Murder Mystery Night, featuring a combination of cape-less crusaders trying to hide behind their secret identities while solving the crime of the century. With names like Captain Fantastic, the Rejuvenator and the Hot Minute, they spent the night sleuthing… and a few of them even came up with the right answer! The covered dishes they brought—from mini meatball subs to pumpkin cheese (don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it)—helped keep up everyone’s energy as the chase ensued.
