Saturday May 26 of Memorial Weekend, it is the Soft Shell Metric Century Bike Ride in Crisfield, MD. Riders can download the registration form here. Jaycees Volunteers will be assigned a Bike Ride Rest Stop serving Gatorade, Peanut Butter Sandwiches and granola bars etc. Its going to be a fun event. Contact President Mike to sign up. See you there! PS We're also recruiting volunteers now for the Chicken Festival: June 15-16. We're cooking Delmarvalous BBQ Chicken at The Centre at Salisbury Mall!! Santa Claus travels around the world in a single night. It took Gansu Song and Dance Theatre a little longer.
The Chinese troupe recently performed the award-winning show Silk Road, Flower Rain for a packed house at Salisbury University, courtesy of World Artist Experiences, Inc. Because Santa is not as well known in their native country as he is in the United States, SU’s Office of Cultural Affairs called on the Salisbury Jaycees to arrange a personal backstage visit.
